It seems appropriate that Taste of Dublin is opening on World Tapas Day this year, 16 June. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience food and wine from Ireland’s favourite holiday destination, Spain. We are happy to say we have tickets to give away to our readers; read on for details of how to enter.

Tasting Spain is a unique Spanish gastronomic experience where visitors will have the opportunity to sample a wide variety of high-quality products from Spain. It will range from wines to olive oils, cheeses and pastries. Discover the different Spanish regions thanks to the visiting chefs and experts that will conduct special masterclasses and wine tastings. Learn about the incredible gastronomic and tourist experiences that you could enjoy on your next trip to Spain.

The experience will include a shopping area where visitors will be able to purchases all those products in exhibition, and you can try your hand at some Spanish cooking at home.

Experiencing Spain is one of the many events and attraction at Taste of Dublin this year.  There will also be demonstrations by many well-known chefs and familiar faces from television. 

Dozens of restaurants and food trucks will be taking part and offering visitors a wide choice of dishes. There will be traditional Irish fare with top class seafood and some very exotic ethnic cuisine.  

Taste is also about new and well known beverages and brands that will be making an impression. They will include Sullivans, Schweppes, Dingle Distillery, Fercullen Irish Whiskey, and Bulmers. There will be cocktail demonstrations too.  

Other events at Taste will include Neff Kitchen, De Longhi Coffee Bar, the Just Eat Food Mansion, and the Free Now Extra Mile Lounge. In addition, visitors to Taste can have a complimentary visit to the MOLI – the Museum of Irish Literature on St. Stephen’s Green, just show your Taste ticket. 

Summer Classic and Rock Original Music

A fun part of the Taste of Dublin Festival is the lively musical side – expect to hear great summer classics and rock originals.  Bands appearing include Spring Break, Mack Fleetwood, Qween, Jo Petit & the Dreamband, the Choons, Swing Cats, Manila Strings and lots more, see schedule here
