EPIC Emigration Museum

Holly, Noel, Joe… aren’t you lucky you were named so? Why, you ask?

Well, EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, voted Europe’s Leading Tourist Attraction three times in a row at the World Travel Awards (2019, 2020, 2021), is offering free entry to visitors with Christmas inspired names, such as Holly, Nick, Fia and Réaltín, this December.

There are a total of 10 names on the list, and we will get to that but before we do, here’s a little bit about what the offer entails. People with festive names can get a free ticket in the lead up to Christmas, from Monday 12th December to Friday 23rd December.

All free tickets can be redeemed at the museum ticket desk with a valid ID, such as a passport, providing proof of name.

EPIC has included a variety of Irish names on the list, including Rí (meaning King) and Fia (meaning Deer). Visitors to EPIC can also visit the Power of a Name exhibition, which invites people from around the world to honour their Irish ancestors by adding their names to the museum and reconnecting them with their homeland.

With beautiful seasonal decorations and an excellent selection of bars and restaurants, this museum in the heart of Dublin’s Docklands is the ideal location for a festive day out with friends and family. So, if you boast one of the following festive names, then EPIC looks forward to welcoming you for free this Christmas!
