Leitrim Tourism has launched a new campaign aimed at attracting more visitors to the Northwest.

Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands has always been a popular place to visit but given the rise of staycations, that demand has risen once again.

Leitrim Tourism has released a new video series highlighting things to do in the county such as gardens at Lough Rynn and Manorhamilton Castle.

The video uses drone footage to show some of the most popular attractions.

Leitrim is home to  Glencar Waterfall which inspired the work of famous Irish poet WB Yeats’ ‘The Stolen Child’.  It’s also a hot spot for water adventures like canoeing, kayaking, and boarding ship along the River Shannon.

Other key destinations in Leitrim include The Shed Distillery, Glenview Folk Museum, Parkes Castle, and Moon River Cruises. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants to fall into as well as an exciting food truck scene.
