A Journey into Connemara’s Spiritual Heritage
Embark on the ancient pilgrimage of Mám Éan (the Pass of the Birds) located in the Maumturks mountain range with archaeologist and local historian, Michael Gibbons. He will identity and explain the early Christian path and explore the sacred landscapes whilst learning about the tradition of ‘Faction Fights’ between local communities and the history of pilgrimage on the West Coast. (Available Friday 5th of November to Sunday 7th of November 2021)
