Like all other tourism sectors the boat rental industry has had to rely on the domestic market during this pandemic period.
Eoghan o Meara Walsh of the Irish Tourism Industry Confederation (ITIC) this week met with Steve Conlon, Director of the Irish Boat Rental Association, to hear how the sector is managing during these challenging times and the opportunities that lie ahead.
Steve talks about the importance of the return of international visitors, the need for ongoing financial supports for boat operators, and the significant potential of the Shannon river and Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands.
