An estimated 8,000 people showed up for the occasion showing just how proud the nation is of the girls in green and how monumental an achievement it has been to qualify and play in our first-ever Women’s World Cup.

Attention now shifts to the official homecoming which is due to take place later this evening (Friday 5th August) the team will be presented to the public in front of the GPO on O’Connell Street in Dublin at 6.30 pm.
