Ski Club of Ireland's Alpine Fest

The Ski Club of Ireland in Kilternan reopened last September to an amazing season, delivering over 15,000 lessons.

It is open again now for this season, delivering a taste of Austria to prepare skiers for the upcoming ski holiday season.

Noting the hard work of its volunteers in getting the show back on the road for another year, Ski Ireland said: “We’d love to see you at our Alpine Fest, supported by all our partners, including Salzburgerland Ski Region Austria, Great Outdoors, Mountain People, Topflight and DLR Tourism.”

Austria has been voted the Best Winter Ski Destination from Ireland for years.

While other countries are popular – such as France, Switzerland, Italy and Andorra – Austria remains No.1 for the Irish market.

As part of this Alpine Fest, The Ski Club of Ireland will be celebrating the hard work and skill sets of its own amazing volunteer ski instructors – 100 of them – while also welcoming special guest instructors and ski experts from Salzburgerland including Zell am See-Kaprun, Saalbach-Hinterglemm and Flachau.
