Welcome to The Grafton Dublin

Inspired by contemporary Art Deco, The Grafton on Stephen Street Lr., is one of Dublin’s newest four-star hotels. It is designed for city stays for business, couples, friends and families. This newly refurbished hotel is a minute from Grafton Street and St Stephens Green – it was formerly the Grafton Capital Hotel.

Welcome to The Grafton Dublin

Following an extensive refurbishment, The Grafton now exudes luxury and glamour with modern styling fused with sleek 1920’s details to create a distinctive personality. Guests are welcomed to the light filled lobby, framed with geometric mirrored tiles, polished wood and brass that balance with bold and soft toned plush velvet sofas, chairs and tables.

The Coffee Dock with a separate seating area, serves refreshments throughout the day to guests and visitors who drop in to take a relaxing break. Finishing touches are being made to a street level outdoor terrace that is scheduled to open later in April.

Bartley Dunne’s Returns

Built on the site of the original iconic Bartley Dunne pub, Bartley’s Bar embraces the nostalgia of Dublin from another era. It will have a modern twist, capturing the character of this famous landmark that attracted an eclectic mix of people.

Traditional blends with contemporary themes with deep moody colours and rich velour textures. Bartleys serves a full range from old school classics to something more modern or a simple pint of ‘plain’.

The cocktail menu features classics including La Dolce Vita (mango infused vodka, strawberry syrup, lime juice passion fruit and Prosecco). The signature The Bartley Spritz (Martini Fiero, strawberry, rhubarb topped with Prosecco), will be expertly prepared by the skilled team of mixologists and bartenders.

The Grafton Hotel, Bartleys Restaurant

The iconic art deco mood extends to Bartley’s Restaurant that is bordered with leather banquette seating and rows of stylish leather quilted chairs and tables. The casual dining menu offers an individual take on classic local and international dishes.

The lower ground floor is home to Bartley’s Lounge, an event space that is available for private hire for up to 250 guests. The room is fitted with the latest lighting and sound technology and has its own private bar area and entrance.

Upstairs all of the 127 rooms are modern 1920’s inspired and include Terrace Suites with balconies that allow guests to savour the cityscape and take in the cultural atmosphere. A range of rooms from Deluxe Single to Super King and Bunk rooms are available, prices from €169.

Large Family Rooms

The Grafton is possibly the only hotel in Dublin 2 to have large spacious family rooms designed for up to six people to stay together. Complete with two sets of bunk beds and a super king bed, these rooms have a separate bathroom and shower room to accommodate the group. All rooms have superfast Wi – Fi and Smart Chromecast TV giving guests access to their favourite TV apps for movies.

Following a complete refurbishment, the hotel reopened in August 2021 under the new management. The Grafton is committed to reducing its carbon footprint and is dedicated to the continuous improvement of green initiatives throughout the hotel.

The hotel is participating in the BREEAM certification process, of environmental, social, and economic sustainability performance, using standards developed by BRE. Read more about The Grafton here.
