We all love our four-legged friends. One of the hardest things to do is to leave our lovely dogs behind as we nervously try to remember if we’ve mentioned every possible detail to your dog-sitter to ensure our canine is safe and happy.

You can skip all that worry now though, as here is a list of the best hotels you and your pup can go to for a quick city break in Dublin.

The Five Most Dog-Friendly Hotels in Ireland

The Mont Hotel, Merrion Street Lower

The Mont Hotel, situated right in the heart of the city, only a stone’s throw from Merrion Square is a perfect base for you and your bowwow. On arrival at the Mont you may be lucky enough to be greeted by Monty, the guest relations ‘pawfficer’ at the Mont Hotel.

The Mont hotel has dedicated multiple rooms as their ‘doggie rooms’ for small to medium-sized dogs. The rooms include all that you would expect with any hotel booking with the inclusion of some dog toys and a dog mat for your furry friend.

The food at the Mont is also a reason to stay in itself. Its Italian-styled restaurant Speranza is quite a hit with the locals. Unfortunately, your four-legged friend can’t join you in the restaurant under hotel rules but they can meet you in the bar afterwards for a nightcap as the bar is dog friendly.
