Tayto Park has announced that, as of January 1, it will be renamed and rebranded EMERALD PARK.

The popular theme park and zoo, in Ashbourne Co Meath, announced earlier this year that it would be changing its name after its 12-year sponsorship tie-in with Tayto expired.

The park’s marketing manager, Niamh Reynolds said it was a strategic decision to not look for a replacement brand title sponsor but to create a new brand instead.

She said the park is actively meeting brand teams at present and is “very confident” of having “the right partners” in place for 2023.

According to Tayto Park general manager, Charles Coyle: “When we announced that the name of the Park would change, we were inundated with ideas from the public and it was wonderful to see such enthusiasm. We commissioned a piece of research and EMERALD PARK was the clear favourite. We will start next year with a new name and new brand throughout the Park.”

The theme park and zoo was the vision of founder Raymond Coyle, who passed away in June and his son Charles now continues his father’s legacy. The long term ambition is to make this park in Meath one of the best family attractions in Europe.
