It looks like Bruce Springsteen was born to plant as he vows to place a tree in his grandmother’s home of Rathanganon on his next trip to Ireland!
The rocker, along with the E Street Band are due to play three shows at the RDS Arena in Dublin next May.
While there, he promises to buy Irish fans a drink and explore his heritage; his strongest Irish link being through his great-great-great-grandparents Christy Garrity and Christy’s wife Catherine Kelly.
Springsteen discovered his roots (pun intended!) in 2016 when it was discovered that his great-great-grandmother Ann Garrity arrived in New Jersey in 1853.
