Renowned Scottish-Italian chef Nico Simeone will be introducing his unique dining experience, Six by Nico, to Dublin this November.

The creative food and drink concept currently operates in various UK and Northern Ireland locations including Glasgow, Belfast, Liverpool and London. Dublin’s Molesworth Street restaurant will replace the former Le Pain Quotidien, and will have its own bar and outdoor dining facilities.

Six by Nico Dublin promises to be as eye-catching as it is delicious and will boast a minimal design, starkly contrasted by grand fixtures and fittings with atmospheric mood lighting. The restaurant will feature a modern design open kitchen on view to all.

Inspired by recipes from all over, Simeone pushes the boundaries of creativity in his experimental cuisine. Delivering a fresh six-course tasting menu every six weeks, each menu is inspired by a different place, memory or concept.

Chef Nico Simeone said: “We are very proud to bring our unforgettable culinary experience to Dublin. Customers have dined at our restaurants from Edinburgh to London to try each of our menus since our first Six by Nico opened in Glasgow in 2017. Dublin is a city known for its vibrant food and drink scene, and we are looking forward to welcoming customers very soon”.

As well as creating an exciting new spot for Dubliners to enjoy a meal like no other, Simeone expects to create around 50 new jobs with the opening of the restaurant.

Rachael Rafferty, Operations Director for Simeone Group, commented: “Restaurants are all about people, and we’ve spent a lot of time at Six by Nico thinking about how to be a place that attracts brilliant, enthusiastic individuals. As we prepare to open in Dublin, we encourage those who are passionate about the hospitality sector to join our dynamic team, grow with us, and enjoy a rewarding career with our Six by Nico family”.

Rafferty has opened all Six by Nico restaurants for the group, including the new flagship London Canary Wharf location, which handles 500 covers a day. The creative and ever evolving six-course set menu, will be priced at €45 per person to match the brand’s London counterparts. Wine pairings alongside the tasting menu will be priced at €39 per person.
