Croke Park is pulling out all the stops for making Christmas a truly wonderful experience for the entire family. How’s that, you ask? Well, they’ve put together a double delight – two amazing experiences for the price of one.

You get to go behind the scenes at Croke Park, and that includes entry to the Elves’ Christmas dressing room, pitch side, and into the North Pole Skills Zone. And that’s not all. You get to top it all off with a festive visit to Santa’s Clubhouse Igloo. That is certainly going to make children very happy, and adults won’t be complaining either. That’s because there’s a 25% discount on a Croke Park Stadium tour which they can redeem anytime up to May next year.

The Santa Experience also includes free admission to the newly refurbished GAA Museum

Of course, you want all the details and we’ve them for you. Santa Claus arrives on Saturday November 26th and will be available to meet everyone on selected dates until Thursday 22nd December. The experience is run in groups, lasts 50 minutes and is wheelchair and buggy accessible. Free parking is available outside the GAA Museum with entry to Croke Park at St Joseph’s Avenue (turn at the Daybreak Shop on the Clonliffe Road).

The tickets need to be pre-booked online in advance at crokepark.ie/santa.

If you’re aching to find out more, worry not. So, on the Croke Park Santa Experience all visitors will be given the VIP treatment. They will get behind the winter wonderland scenes access, as well as the opportunity to see the Elves tog out in their Christmas training gear at the Elf Dressing Room.

Plus, children will be thrilled to spend some time in the Igloo Clubhouse, and there’s also the option of testing out your own hurling, camogie and football skills in the North Pole Skills Zone.  An All-Star Elf will even check your skills score card and will share some insider knowledge on treats to leave out on Christmas eve for Santa and his reindeer.

Kids can write their letter to Santa at Cú Chulainn’s Den, where they can get it stamped with Croke Park’s official Sam & Liam stamps and post it in their GAA Museum post box!

Before we forget, when your kids meet Mr Claus they will receive a small GAA-themed gift, and photos will also be available to purchase if they so wish. Of course, you are free to take as many of your own!

The Santa Experience also includes free admission to the newly refurbished GAA Museum, which gives a unique insight into the history of GAA in Ireland. Here visitors can see the original Sam Maguire and Liam MacCarthy cups and younger visitors can also pick up their Junior Explorer passport and follow a specially designed children’s route through the museum.

We have given you all the scoop we had; now it’s time to book your tickets and let us know how the visit went.
