Pissed Artists – Pop-Up Painting and Booze Parties Are Back

The popular art of the pop-up paint party – kind of a drink-fuelled art class – is back with events, errr, popping up around the country.

The organisers of Drink & Draw – which holds events across Ireland and the UK – actually call the experience “less of an art class and more of an art party”.

“Since 2018, we’ve hosted over 15,000 people across four countries for the maddest paint party this side of Europe. Relax, unwind and get creative with alcohol or tea as you create your own unique media,” the company suggests on its website.

An instructor is on hand to guide budding artists through their 2-hour painting journey – with games and spot prizes to keep the fun flowing.

The company is also ranked as number one provider of workshops in Dublin on Tripadvisor.

Another big player in this field is Dublin-based Paint and Prosecco.

This company has done corporate events for the likes of Google, Accenture and Primark/Penneys and has also featured at Taste of Dublin and Electric Picnic. It has also developed its own Paint at Home Kit, which has sold well in Brown Thomas and Arnotts.
