New Wellbeing Escapes Are Coming to Carton House in 2024

It’s going to be a gently wellbeing-focused year at Carton House Fairmont with their new wellbeing ambassador, Sinead Mooney, hosting a series of retreats throughout the year. The first two take place on January 20th and 21st, and February 24th and 25th and there will be more scheduled throughout the year.

These will be stays that bring Sinead’s wealth of experience as a meditation instructor, life design coach and yoga teacher to Carton House Fairmont, along with her modern, accessible and playful approach to everything she does.

Demystifying, simplifying and empowering, Sinead’s wellbeing retreats at Carton House will be based around both yoga and meditation with sessions benefiting from the vast and varied experience of her greater Moons Yoga Team. Morning sessions will generally be focused on awakening and nourishing, with the evening sessions calming and restoring in nature.

There will be optional add-ons like life coaching, cacao rituals, sound bathing, breathwork and forest bathing — a wonderful way to experience the setting of this grand country house in over 1,100 spacious and serene acres of lush, sweeping parkland and magical, ancient woodlands.

Guests will also enjoy a treatment in Carton House Spa & Wellness, the gorgeous spa in a renovated 18th century mill building at the resort, using the beautifully aromatic skin and body care brand, Aromatherapy Associates, and there will be a gift from Ground Wellbeing in your room to continue your journey after you check out.

Sinead loves to make the transformative tools she uses both fun and achievable for everyone to use in better navigating their busy day to day lives, so her retreats at Carton House will blend the luxury of the setting with relatable, actionable guidance. During your stay, you’ll be encouraged and supported to journal and to enjoy meditation sessions in your room (which will be provided for you on check-in), with the idea being that you will continue these positive habits into the future and transform your wellbeing moving forward.

With one and two night stay options, these Wellbeing escapes led by Sinead Mooney and her team includes dinner on one night in Kathleen’s Kitchen and is available from €490 single occupancy in a Fairmont King room in the Garden Wing on January 20th and 21st, and February 24th and 25th, with more dates being added later in the year. If this sounds like something you would be interested in you can find all the details here.
