The Old Music Shop Restaurant has today announced the launch of their ‘Alfresco Afternoon Tea’, a take away picnic box to be enjoyed outdoors when restrictions ease.
Each Classic or Vegetarian Alfresco Afternoon Tea box will contain a selection of tasty finger sandwiches, delicate miniature desserts, homemade buttermilk scones with preserves and Java Republic organic tea. Boxes also include the napkins, compostable plates, champagne flutes, and cutlery ready for a picnic in one of Dublin’s many parks, beaches or one’s own garden.
Tom McKeon, Food and Beverage Manager of the Castle Hotel’s Old Music Shop Restaurant said, “Our customers have celebrated zoom birthdays, Valentines, Mother’s Day and even St Patrick’s Day at home with Afternoon Tea. Now they are itching to get outdoors again to meet friends in small groups and mark milestones safely. Our Alfresco Afternoon Tea will make any celebration outdoors extra special.
“For the past 2 years we have been building on our Afternoon Tea offering, moving quickly to take away in 2020 and adapting to our customers’ needs. Whilst we can’t welcome guests to dine in these historic Georgian buildings we hope they can continue to enjoy our great tasting food whether they are at home or outdoors.”
