The boys and girls of the RTÉ Concert Orchestra are back in town (!) by popular demand with their take on Thin Lizzy’s mighty songbook.

Following a successful run out at Collins Barracks, in Dublin, last summer, the Orchestra brings the show back for two one-night stands in Dublin and Wexford – at the National Concert Hall and National Opera House, respectively.

The setlist includes Lizzy/Phil Lynott classics including The Boys are Back in Town, Whiskey in the Jar, Old Town, Jailbreak, Dancing in the Moonlight and Sarah.

Special guests on the nights will include Tom Dunne, Wallis Bird, Jack O’Rourke, Jess Kav and Shobsy; the orchestra will be conducted by Principal Guest Conductor Stephen Bell and the arrangements are by John Metcalfe, whose CV includes work with U2 and Peter Gabriel.
