Killester Travel has partnered with East Coast Helicopters to offer customers the chance to take a virtual trip in a flight simulator at the National Flight Centre at Weston Aerodrome in Dublin.
The Pilot School Experience (€675 per person, based on a minimum of four people) is a half-day package that includes a 40-minute briefing and then 30 minutes of simulated flying on your choice of aircraft including a Boeing 737, a single-engine airplane or a helicopter. There then follows an actual 30-minute flight over Dublin in a helicopter. Lunch and snacks are also included.
If you just fancy the scenic flight over Dublin, the cost is €895 per flight, for up to five people.
Fly & Golf
Killester Travel is also offering the chance of arriving in style at some of the country’s top golf courses.
For €1125 you can get return flights to Portrush plus a round of golf on the Dunluce Course; for €1030 you can do the same at the Old Head of Kinsale while the Killeen Course in Killarney costs €1050 per person, including a round of golf.
