As summer draws to a close and school restarts, it’s time to start looking ahead to the October mid-term break and plan for a Halloween ‘Frights & Delights Family Stay’ at the four-star Killashee Hotel outside Naas in County Kildare. Skip the trick-or-treating in the rain, wind, cold and endless door-knocking and treat your family to a fun-filled spooky Halloween.
There is a choice of one, two and three nights family stays for two adults and up to three children (under 12 years), available from Friday 27th October to Sunday 5th November. Each includes staying in a spacious Deluxe family room, with a full Irish breakfast each morning and a three-course dinner on an evening of choice. Also, each child will receive a Spooky goodie bag on arrival and a homemade Halloween cookie to get them in the spooky spirit for their adventure.
After settling in, children are invited to dress up in their favourite scariest costume to enjoy Halloween night with face painting from 4.30 pm-6.00 pm, followed by the spooky-themed Movie Room showing a special spellbinding film from 7 pm-9 pm and the Ghostly Candy Cart, full of their favourite sweets.
Families have full use of the Leisure Centre with its 25-metre swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi during their stay. The hotel also has a playroom brimming with toys and a full selection of board games. The grounds surrounding the hotel are full of magic with its own playground and zipline, woodland walks and nature trail which children can discover with their Killashee explorer bug hunt kits.
Killashee is situated on a 55 acres estate of woodlands and gardens, outside Naas in County Kildare, 30 minutes from Dublin. Close to three racecourses, and historic and national visitor attractions including Russborough House, the Japanese Gardens and the Irish National Stud, all only 15 minutes from Killashee Hotel.
