Muse and Lana Del Rey have announced short notice Irish gigs this week – and, in the case of Del Rey, extremely short notice.
The eccentric New York chanteuse might have been 30 minutes late for her Glastonbury Festival set, last weekend, but she’s wasted no time in setting up her next Irish appearance.
Around her Hyde Park, London show on July 9, she has set up dates in Amsterdam on July 4, Dublin’s 3Arena on July 7, and Paris on July 10.
She is currently touring to promote her latest album Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd.
And, in this age of concert tickets going on sale years in advance of the actual event, Muse have similarly kept it tight by announcing their next Irish date for later this year. Promoting their 10th album, Will Of The People, they stop off at Dublin’s 3Arena on September 27 as part of their latest European tour.
