Last night, 24 August, Minister for Tourism, Catherine Martin TD announced the opening of Glencullen Adventure Park’s six new mountain biking jump trails – open to the public from 4 September 2021.

The family owned adventure park, also known as The Gap, is located in the Dublin Mountains with over 300 acres of trails. The six-trail expansion is co-funded by Fingal Leader Partnership, investing over €250,000 in the development.

Matthew Davy, owner of The Gap said: “Investment is key for outdoor tourism in Ireland, to put us on that world stage. And certainly we could not have done it so fast, especially with Covid_19 restrictions, if it had not been for the support of Leader.”

The Gap prides itself on being a “breeding ground for talent,” aiming to help foster confidence in young racers, and encourage the progression of Irish racing on a global level.
