Enterprise Holdings is expanding its car rental options, launching its car-sharing service Enterprise Car Club in Ireland.
The service has been running in the UK for around 10 years and is now available in locations across Ireland including Dublin, Cork and Galway. Customers can rent cars by the hour with the option to reserve in advance or on the go.
Over 30 cars and vans have been installed at Enterprise Rent-A-Car branches, and vehicles can also be picked up from various designated on-street locations and car parks. The Enterprise Car Club currently offers hybrid and fuel-efficient vehicles, with plans to add fully electric cars in future.
After registering online, motorists can use the Enterprise Car Club app to reserve vehicles. The vehicle can then be unlocked using the app or by placing the contactless card linked to the account over the windscreen reader.
This development is expected to increase the number of staff across Enterprise’s five airport branches over the coming months, with plans to expand the project across further locations also in place.
