Culture Night returns this year on 17 September and there’s plenty happening across the country. Here are some of the events taking place in Munster throughout the evening:

Clare

HOME – an Art Exhibition by Betty Cauldwell

This exhibition, hosted by Cultúrlann Sweeney Theatre, memorialises artist Betty Cauldwell, who passed away in April 2020. Her collection of oil, watercolour, acrylic and pastel paintings celebrate County Clare and its captivating landscapes.

Bijou Opera

Three-piece Bijou Opera present ‘Shakespeare in Song’, retelling the stories of Shakespeare through operatic duets and arias. The performance will include musical adaptations of esteemed plays such as Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet and MacBeth.
