Boyne Valley Tourism launched its 2022 campaign with three new videos ‘Where the Adventure Begins’ The three videos will take you on an adventure through the oldest and most historical landscape in Ireland; the Boyne Valley. It will give you holiday inspiration for families and couples. After two years of lockdowns, 2022 is the year to begin your new adventure, by visiting the Boyne Valley in County Meath.

“This summer, the much-loved Causey Ice Cream Adventure returns, tours of Slane Castle, and Loughcrew Wildlife month is February. There will be racing at Navan, Fairyhouse, Bellewstown and on Laytown Strand.
Nathan Carter and Mike Denver Appearing At Moynalty Country Festival
Moynalty Country Music Festival takes place on the 26 June featuring Mike Denver and Nathan Carter. There are also exciting things planned for the coming years with the Boyne Valley to Lakelands County Greenway currently in developmen. This will result in a 30km walkers’ and cyclists’ paradise along the route of the old railway line. The route also includes the recently completed looped section at Nobber and another at Castletown Kilpatrick.”

This tranquil river walk begins at Trim Castle and finishes at the ruins of the 13th century town of Newtown. It provides a glimpse of life in Trim in the Middle Ages. It is about 30 minutes along well marked pathways.
