Fota Island Resort in Cork is ready to provide fun activities for active families. The adventure afternoons run from 2pm–4pm, Monday to Sunday, and include survival and bushcraft, target archery and obstacle courses, water sports and orienteering, all tailor-made to suit family members or groups of friends of all ages.
This summer there are two new activities — a riddle quest treasure hunt called Fota Adventure Quest, following clues throughout the Resort. The puzzle-solving adventure is called Cabin Fever, with mental and tactical challenges. These activities are available to book per group or family.
The Munster Tennis Hub at Fota Island Resort returns this year. Guests can book one on one lessons with a tennis coach or book the courts for a game with family and friends. Resort guests can book into the ACE! Children’s Camps too, with top level coaching for young players of all ages.
Wildlife is next door
Fota Wildlife Park is next door too, so you’re sharing an island not just with your own family members, but also with the families of lemurs, penguins, kangaroos, gibbons and cheetahs. A great day out on holidays.
Outdoor dining is available at the Clubhouse for guests to enjoy the new South African braai BBQ. During August there will be classic movies on the lawn at Fota House and Gardens.
