What’s On at Dublin’s Pride Village this Year

Dublin Pride Village, a key highlight of Dublin Pride, is set to take place on June 29th, 2024, in Merrion Square. This event is a free, inclusive festival that celebrates LGBTQ+ culture and community with a wide range of activities and performances.

The main stage will be hosted by Phil T. Gorgeous and Paul Ryder, with DJ Ruth keeping the energy high between acts. Attendees can look forward to captivating performances from a variety of artists, including:

  • Davina Devine

These performances will showcase a mix of music, drag, and traditional Irish entertainment, reflecting the diversity and talent within the LGBTQ+ community.

Activities and Zones

The Pride Village will feature several themed areas and activities to ensure a memorable experience for all!

  • ISL (Irish Sign Language) interpretation at the main stage.
  • An accessible toilet with hoist and attendant (Mobiloo).
  • A NeuroPride zone for neurodiverse attendees.

Visitors requiring additional support or accessibility entrance wristbands can contact the organizers at [email protected].

Food and Refreshments

While the event itself is alcohol-free, there are plenty of nearby bars for those looking to enjoy a drink. Pride Village will offer many different food options, so there’s something for everyone. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottles to make use of the free water refill stations.

Entry and Fees

Entry to the Pride Village is free, and no tickets are required. The festival will be running on the day of the parade from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. However, be prepared for a queueing system at peak times, typically between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM after the parade. Bag searches will be conducted to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, so make sure to pack light.

In addition to the activities at Merrion Square, the Mother Pride Block Party will take place later in the day at the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks, from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM. This 18+ event features performances by international and local LGBTQ+ artists, including COBRAH, Princess Superstar, Robin S, Sasha Velour, and Blu Hydrangea.
