With the coming June Bank Holiday weekend, we’re here to recommend some of our top activities that will keep your hands and head occupied! Pottery, painting, themed nights, a drink on the side…there’s plenty to choose from!
Dublin Pottery Painting Studio – Dublin 7
Come and create your own unique ceramic bisque piece with no experience necessary!
How does it work? Select from a range of bisque pieces from cups, vases, jugs, teapots and more.
Then, the studio will provide you with all the materials needed to paint your masterpiece. Sessions last about 90 minutes to 2 hours, and when you’re done it’ll get fired in-house and you’ll be notified when it’s ready to collect!
The Dublin Pottery Painting Studio also has themed nights, workshops and private booking plus team building events available 7 days a week.

Pottery Wheel Throwing Workshop – Dublin 7
Want to go back to the basics and make your own piece to paint? Arran Street East Studio are offering a unique full one-day day workshop where you can work on your own pottery wheel to shape clay, with the skillful instruction of their pottery teachers, who will guide you to learn throwing techniques, and craft your own small pots.
They have several events available, with the Bank Holiday workshop scheduled for Saturday the 1st of June.

Neon painting: Space themed! – Dublin 1
Paint a canvas using fluorescent paint under UV lights and make something very different! The team at The Dublin Art Bar will take each person step by step into creating a masterpiece with no experience necessary. The theme for the 2hr event on Saturday, the 1st of June, is ‘Space’ so prepare to draw something out of this world!

Drink and Draw: Starry Night over Dublin – Dublin 7
If you prefer to get creative after a good drink, then Drink and Draw at the Grá Bar is the perfect place to go.
Drink & Draw is a super fun event designed so you can have a good time, it’s not about perfection, at Grá Bar, they want you to relax and create. There are instructors available who will help you create your own masterpiece. It doesn’t matter if you can’t paint, this about getting in touch with the moment, and unleashing your inner artist. With something boozey on the side of course…
