7th July 2023: Roe & Co Whiskey is bringing an explosion of flavour to the Dublin 8 distillery located in the heart of The Liberties, with a new line up of incredible local restaurants taking over Roe & Co’s Summer Garden for their signature summer whiskey and food pairing experience. Órale, the next restaurant partner at the Roe & Co Summer Garden, skillfully combines fresh Irish ingredients with captivating Mexican influences, crafting an array of delectable food truck classics. Established by Ian Cairns in 2019, this nomadic kitchen embarked on a remarkable journey, initially captivating the hearts of Dublin’s taco enthusiasts before evolving into a haven for Mexican-inspired sharing dishes.

August will see Hakkahan take up residency, providing guests with a modern Chinese menu inspiring you to reimagine how delightful Chinese food is, paired with a delicious Roe & Co whiskey cocktail. Hakkahan’s literal translation means ‘man from Hakka’ which is the region in China where owner Ryon Wen is from, while Hakkahan’s chef Qiang Liu is from Sichuan Province. It is a natural progression that they have created a menu dominated by Sichuan dishes with a smattering of influences from elsewhere. Hakkahan places an emphasis on the importance of provenance and works with some of the best Irish suppliers to ensure the consistency of their ingredients and how they can be showcased.
