Vintage Tea trTips have a fleet of three fully restored Routemaster buses. The three afternoon tea buses are named Pauline, Kitty and Julia after Karen, the owner’s, grandmothers and great aunt. These front engine double decker buses were designed by and for London Transport. Each with their own history and personality they bring that special something to the experience.
As you journey through the streets of Dublin, you will be treated to a sumptuous afternoon tea, complete with delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and a selection of delectable pastries and cakes. The tour also includes commentary on the history and culture of the city, making it the perfect way to discover Dublin’s rich heritage. The vintage bus departs from Templebar. Guests can soak up the nostalgia as the host gets the conversation started, the 1950s jazz starts up, and a classic afternoon tea is served.
There is also a Vintage Tea Trip available in Cork, with treats handmade each morning by Mags from The Pastry Fork. Sit back, relax and let the hosts regale you with tales about Cork. The tour includes stops at some of Cork’s most iconic landmarks, including the English Market and St. Fin Barre’s Cathedral. Along the way, you will be served a delicious afternoon tea, featuring a selection of freshly made sandwiches, scones with jam and cream, and a variety of sweet treats.
