‘Andy Warhol Three Times Out’ – Ireland’s biggest ever exhibition celebrating the late New York-based PopArt pioneer – has just begun, and will run well into the New Year.
With more than 250 works of art by Warhol – including the iconic Campbell’s Soup can series and Marilyn Monroe works; the exhibition – at Dublin’s Hugh Lane Gallery – covers Warhol over 40 years and takes in paintings, photographs, prints and films.
All the works are on loan from various museums and private collections across Europe and North America – including the Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, Warhol’s birthplace in 1928.
