One less event and gig to go to this year – unfortunately – as bat-munching rock god Ozzy Osbourne has sadly announced his retirement from live performance due to consistent health issues.
The tragic news means that Ozzy’s already much-postponed European tour (as part of his ‘No More Tours’ farewell jaunt) – which was to feature the mighty Judas Priest as support band and was scheduled to stop off at Dublin’s 3Arena on June 10 – has been cancelled.
Full refunds will be available.
In a simple statement, Ozzy said: “I am honestly humbled by the way you’ve all patiently held onto your tickets for all this time, but in all good conscience, I have now come to the realisation that I’m not physically capable of doing my upcoming European/UK dates, as I know I couldn’t deal with the travel required.”
