Pearl Jam have confirmed their first Irish date in a staggering 10 years; with them set to play Dublin’s Marlay Park on Saturday, June 22.
Travel2Ireland confidently predicted the exact date the Seattle group would be playing before Christmas, so we’re feeling a tad smug right now.
The show forms part of the band’s Dark Matter World Tour – in support of its new album Dark Matter (out April 19) – and will feature former Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft and The Murder Capital as support acts.
Pearl Jam’s 2024 World Tour kicks off on May 4 in Vancouver, Canada. An 11-date North American tour (culminating in a 2-night stand in their home city of Seattle) will be followed by a 9-date European trek, starting with the Dublin show.
Then it’s back to the US, before finishing the year with a string of shows in New Zealand and Australia.
