So without further ado, here’s a naughty-good list of cabarets and drag shows that are high on fun, and big on entertainment. There’s singing, performances, dancing and lots of colour and personality on the floor.

Christmas Cabaret Drag Show

Here’s what the show promises to be about. It involves a certain Miss Taken and Miss Roots, and as the event description goes: “Miss Taken and Miss Roots are coming to SLEIGH, get in the spirit with the ultimate festive cabaret show with all your favourite Christmas songs in Kavanghs on December 10th. Your ticket includes 1 X Pornstar Martini.” Sounds interesting? You know where to head to!

The Curtis Christmas Cabaret

After a successful premiere, opera singer, podcaster and artist Fearghal Curtis is bringing back The Curtis Cabaret and this time with a festive twist.

The Curtis Cabaret “Christmas Special, Naughty V Nice” will be back at the Sugar Club on the 11th of December 2022 to present a night of music and some festive entertainment.

You will find on the stage Ross Scanlon, Wren Dennehy, Shauna Buckingham, Vinny Lynch, Chris O’Sullivan, Cassie Delaney and Megan Cassidy. Musical theatre and Irish singer Emily Carroll will also join the cast for this Christmas Special.

Christmas Craicer Show

Think Sing Along Social meets Christmas cabaret with primary school nativity play production values, multiplied by the greatest cheesy pop songs of all time, divided by prizes for the best worst singers and the most enthusiastic dancers.

Now that sounds like a night full of merriment, and then some more of it! This event also promises to help you get your singing in order. As the official copy for the event goes: “Our beautiful pals Joyful Noise will be helping you to warm up your vocal chords with a performance to kick off the night.

Our friends Floozy + Bluesy, a musical comedy duo who deliver their own brand of risqué cabaret, featuring original songs, questionable costume and narcissistic puppets (yes, puppets), will be the meat in the sandwich of our special show.

The Craic Mechanics will take you home with a Sing Along Social featuring special guest Craic Mechanics, our sisters in Drag, Maura Darragh, Annie Queeries and Cornflake Girl.”

If this intrigues you, here are all the details. And if you end up reserving a place, and love the night, drop us a line please.
