With a distinct lack of respect for the archaic ‘rules’ and a severe impatience with the exclusive whiskey status quo, Foxes Bow Whiskey is a brand for anyone but declares it won’t be for everyone.
This is a straight-up whiskey with a fair bit of character. Release 01 has a rye cask finish which is unusual in Irish Whiskey but adds a delicious extra layer of spice.
As part of Foxes Bow Whiskey’s Colour Outside the Lines series, you will get a chance to try the limited edition on 17th November at an event at Cuckoo Lane. The night will also feature a Foxes Bow Whiskey tasting and live sneakers personalisation by Barbara Bennett. Each attendee will receive a complimentary limited-edition cocktail on arrival. Foxes Bow’s Story
While living in San Francisco, Limerick native Tony was drinking in an impressively well-stocked whiskey bar and noticed that in the sea of black and green bottles with rolling hills and castle, there were very few options that represented modern day, contemporary Ireland.
Inspired by the incredible wave of creativity coming out of Limerick city over the last couple of years, Tony thought this should surely extend to whiskey.
He quickly roped in Alice to put in motion an idea to remedy that and the founders have been working on Foxes Bow Whiskey ever since!
