Have you heard about the Spanish Festival “Feria de Abril”? If not, you are at the right place.
The Spanish Tourism Office is sponsoring the second edition of the Spanish Festival “Feria de Abril” in Dublin City. Organised by the Dublin-based and Spanish own events company Latin Mix, the target of the festival is to provide a day that showcases to the visitors some of the most well-known cultural traditions from Spain through shows, music and gastronomy.
The fiesta takes place on Sunday 7th of May 2023 at the Harcourt Bar & Garden (60 Harcourt Street, Dublin 2) a large venue in the city centre that allows 1,700 visitors at full capacity. Doors open at 1 pm and closing at 11 pm.
The event aims to be presented in a way that the visitor will be able to get the feeling of an authentic celebration of the April Fair within a “casita” in Andalucia. It will welcome families and will have a dedicated kid’s area.
There will be a food court run by La Ribera Catering, which specialises in Spanish paellas and tapas in Ireland, where visitors will be able to purchase many delicious treats at fantastic prices. Traditional Andalucia drinks, such as a refreshing “Rebujito” (a drink similar to the sherry cobbler), will be available at the bar. Flamenco and Sevillanas shows and workshops, live music, DJ, photo booths with traditional costumes as well as fantastic prizes to be won thanks to the Spanish online store myspanishbridge.com
As part of the festival, a renowned Spanish duo of singers, Andy y Lucas, will be performing on the same day at the Opium Dublin venue at 7 pm as part of their 20 years anniversary tour. The venue is located at 26 Wexford St, Dublin 2, (a 5-minute walk from the festival location)
