Mar­ket Lane is an award-winning restau­rant and bar sit­u­ated on Oliver Plun­kett Street, in the heart of Cork city cen­tre.

In 2007 opened Mar­ket Lane to offer great food, an amaz­ing atmos­phere and fan­tas­tic ser­vice at a rea­son­able price. They have taken inspi­ra­tion from the Eng­lish Mar­ket which has always had value, qual­ity, bus­tle and socia­bil­ity at its core.

Serv­ing over two floors it offers great food and amaz­ing value. Where pos­si­ble they use ingredients from The Eng­lish Mar­ket and local arti­san pro­duc­ers to make up the menu which has a wide range of fish, sal­ads, meat, game and sand­wiches, in addi­tion to coeliac and veg­e­tar­ian dishes and a healthy kids menu.
