Nestled in the middle of Rathgar Village, with an accent on Café/Brasserie style Bijou Bistro is like an exclusive club without fees. Sit outside on the heated terrace for a slice of cake with great coffee or a scrumptious meal and a great bottle of wine in the heart of South Dublin.

Bijou has a vast selection of European dishes on its menu and is a perfect host for brunch, Sunday Lunch, a steak and a beer by yourself, delicious vegetarian/vegan offerings, or that intimate dinner for two you’ve been waiting for.

Being a local to Rathgar my whole life, I have dined in Bijou quite a bit since I was a teenager. The atmosphere is always cool, mellow and relaxed with a big focus on providing quality dishes and service to its customers.
