Coldplay have announced they will be performing four times due to incredible demand. Pre-sale for the group’s first three gigs, set to take place on 29 and 30 August and 1 September, went on sale this morning. The band were originally meant to play 2 nights at Croke Park however, due to the overwhelming demand, they have added an additional two dates.
In a post on social media, promoter MCD said: “Due to incredible demand, 3rd & 4th Coldplay Music Of The Spheres World Tour dates have been added on [sic] 1st & 2nd September 2024 at Croke Park in Dublin!”
This morning (Tuesday, 25th), Ticketmaster crashed during the first presale for Coldplay’s upcoming Dublin concerts, angering their fans.
Over 100,000 people rushed to get tickets for the concerts this morning, and while many made it to the front of the line, they were unable to do so because Ticketmaster either collapsed or sent them to a landing page.
Tickets for all four gigs go on general release on Friday 28 July at 10am.
