Dublin has been ranked 6th best city in Europe to travel to in order to watch live music.
The research – from award-winning independent cruise travel agency Planet Cruise – ranked each city on certain criteria; including the number of live music bars, number of music arenas, number of festivals, number of concerts and average hotel prices.
Glasgow topped the rankings – followed by Lyon, Zurich, Oslo, Marseilles, Dublin, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Helsinki and Zagreb.
Meanwhile, 2024 is rapidly shaping up to be one of Dublin’s busiest year’s on record for top live concerts – Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Bruce Springsteen, AC/DC, Rammstein, Take That, Shania Twain, Arcade Fire and Pearl Jam all lined up for mega outdoor shows.
