Colombian Day at the Harcourt Bar and Garden

Colombian Day is a celebration of Colombian culture in Ireland, and marks the Colombian Independence Day on the 20th of July! The event will be based at the Harcourt Bar and Garden, and will have live music, DJ’s and dance performances, classes, and great food.

Live Music

  • Evelio Galan y Sabor Latino Band, a fabulous band with vocals, keyboard, bass, timbales, congas and trumpet, playing for a 2 hour set of classic Colombian music (7pm).
  • Johnny Arias brings his one man band for a set of Colombian hits too (6pm).

DJ’s

  • DJ duo Cumbia & The Gang will spin sounds of Colombia playing cumbia, salsa, afro roots and more traditional music.
  • The super Rennis Quijada will also DJ at the party till late.

Dance Performances and Classes

  • Salsa colombiana class and salsa show by Daniela Torres (4pm).
  • cumbia dance group has been put together specially for this event (4.30pm).
  • Zumba class by Fuego Flow (5.30pm) bringing all the biggest Colombian hits.

Food

Latin Delights & Pacheco Street Food will be the food vendors.

The market will give a space to Colombian artists, entrepreneurs & small businesses to set up a stand.

Opening Hours & Additional Information

The event will take place at the Harcourt Bar & Garden (D2) on Harcourt Street from 2pm until 2.30am!

Children are welcome to attend until 6pm. Admission for children (up to 14 years of age) is free but all children must have a ticket (when purchasing tickets there is an option to add children). There will be a limited capacity for children. Please bare in mind there are no baby changing or buggy parking facilities at the venue and it will be a busy event with loud music.

There are dedicated dance floors in the venue which do not allow drinking, please be respectful and mindful of this.

Wearing Colombian colours, jerseys and traditional clothing is highly encouraged!
