You’ve missed out on tickets to see Coldplay at Croke Park in August, mainly because there’s nothing left of your life to remortgage after shelling on tickets to see Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, AC/DC and/or Taylor Swift.
But, never fear because a cheaper alternative is at hand. The popular Candlelight Concerts series tackles the Coldplay catalogue this month and beyond; without the annoyance of Chris Martin jumping around like an enthusiastic yoga instructor, while lecturing you about your use of plastic and gouging you on ticket prices.
Candlelight Concerts are a series of live events – basically classical takes on modern artists (everything from The Beatles to Taylor Swift) in unique settings, while bathed in candlelight – and are staged around the world, in more than 100 cities.
