More money was spent in Kerry by people staying in the Kingdom for holidays this summer than anywhere else in the country. Allied Irish Banks (AIB) reports that visitors made an incredible 55 million transactions in Kerry over June, July and August.
It’s no surprise then that so many of County Kerry’s hotels, guesthouses and others were named in the prestigious Georgina Campbell Awards 2021 last week, they were;
- 5-star Hotel of the Year – Park Hotel, Kenmare
- Guesthouse of the Year – Castlewood House, Dingle
- Hideaway of the Year – Barrow House, Tralee
- The Little Things Award for tableware – Fermoyle Pottery, Ballinskelligs
