Africa Day 2024 – the worldwide celebration of African culture, food and custom – is coming up this weekend, on Saturday, May 25.
Ireland will, as ever, have nationwide events celebrating the day – running through this week up to the weekend.
Irish Aid has been heavily involved with every local authority event around the country and promises that this year’s celebration will be bigger and better than ever.
The main event in Ireland will be a free family day in Dublin’s Royal Hospital Kilmainham.
