Happy International Burrito Day! What better way to celebrate than by indulging in some of the best burritos Dublin has to offer? Whether you’re a burrito connoisseur or a newcomer to the world of handheld flavour explosion, we’ve put together some of the top burrito spots in Dublin that are a must-try for any foodie lover.

The delicious Mexican meal is perfect for even the fussiest eaters, with customers able to choose exactly which rice, meat, beans, sauce and cheese appears in their lunchtime treat.

Boojum

No list of Dublin’s best burrito spots would be complete without mentioning Boojum. With multiple locations across the city, including a bustling branch on Abbey Street, Boojum has earned a reputation for serving up some of the best burritos in town. It’s value for money and its huge range of different toppings, meats, salsas and a choice between fajitas, burritos, burrito in a bowl and tacos mean you could eat something completely different every time you visit. Plus they offer vegan cheese, vegan sour cream and even vegan chilli. My personal favourite is the boojum in Grand Canal, they always go heavy on portion size!

El Grito Mexican Taqueria

Located in Mountjoy square, Rathmines and now Jervis Street. El Grito offers affordable prices as well as its authentic cuisine, While the burritos, tortas, and gringas all cost over €9.99, the tacos only cost €2.50 a pop and taste out of this world. This is also one of the only places in town serving an El Pastor burrito. The meat is shaved off a kebab-style meat spit and it is top notch.

Pablo Picante

Nestled in the heart of Dublin’s city center, Pablo Picante is a firm favorite by all. It offers a huge range of burritos to cater to every taste and even has a number of “slim” burritos for calorie conscious folk. The best thing about this place is how authentic all the ingredients are, all food is prepared fresh and slow-cooked or oven-roasted and you can even pair your burrito with one of Pablo Picante’s signature margaritas for the ultimate flavor experience. They also offer a great student deal where you can buy a burrito and free drink for just €6.50.

Burritos & Blues

Located on Wexford Street, Burritos & Blues has been dishing out delicious burritos since 2004. This popular spot is known for its generous portions, fresh ingredients, and laid-back atmosphere. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic chicken burrito or feeling adventurous with a spicy salsa veggie-friendly option, Burritos & Blues has something for everyone.
