Running from April 30th to May 4th, this year marks a whopping 70 years of incredible voices filling our streets, and the organisers are pulling out all the stops for a truly spectacular five-day celebration.

What's On

Choirs are flocking in from all corners of the globe, and the festival has a jam-packed schedule of breathtaking performances and workshops that’ll have you humming for weeks.

Over 90 venues across the city and county are set to host everything from grand gala concerts to friendly competitions, quirky fringe gigs, and even free public performances. You literally won’t be able to escape the beautiful sounds!

Must-see moments

Get ready for some seriously cool and unexpected choral action popping up all over the place.

First up, Afternoons in the Atrium at the Clayton Hotel are back on Saturday and Sunday, May 3rd and 4th. Grab a drink or a coffee and enjoy some laid-back bliss.

The Cobh Fringe Festival is going to be absolutely epic, with choirs serenading you in the stunning St. Colman’s Cathedral, the charming Christ Church, right by the sea at the Bandstand on the Promenade, Christ Church Cobh, and local schools.

See the Marina Market come alive with music

Get ready to hear incredible harmonies while you’re grabbing your grub because choirs will be performing at the Marina Market on Saturday, May 3rd. Food AND glorious music? Yes, please.

Of course, the festival wouldn’t be the same without the Fleischmann International Trophy competition, where you can witness some of the world’s best amateur choirs battling it out for a seriously prestigious prize.

And for a truly unforgettable opening night, mark Wednesday, April 30th in your diaries. The Cork Fleischmann Symphony Orchestra, the amazing East Cork Choral Society, and the legendary Guinness Choir from Dublin are joining forces to perform Edward Elgar’s masterpiece, The Dream of Gerontius. Prepare for goosebumps.

Get ready to have your eardrums serenaded – this is one festival you won’t want to miss.

Festival tickets and further details on all the performances can be found on corkchoral.ie.
